Selvage Goodness Giveaway!

I'm honored to be guest blogging over at Stash Manicure today. Thanks to everyone who's visiting me today by way of Madame Samm. She's featuring all things selvage, and anyone who knows me knows how much I love selvage.

Seeing as this was my first invitation to guest blog, I'm celebrating with my first giveaway. If you love to sew with selvage, enter to win a pile of lovely selvages to create with.

If admiring selvages is more your thing, enter to win a selvage potholder in springtime pinks and greens.

Just leave a comment letting me know which goodie you're most interested in and I'll draw two winners on Monday at noon Pacific. One entry per person. Please make sure you include your e mail address if you're a no-comment-blogger so that I can contact you.

Hi, I started collecting the edges a few months ago as I couldnt bear to waste them, but didn't know what I would do with them, thanks for the inspiration, now I just need some more! I'd love some extras if they are being offered!

OH lovely giveaway! I'd love to win the potholder, as I've already got a pile of selvedges of my own to work with. The potholder would be nice though - you can never have enough of them! Especially when they're so beautiful!!

Hiya - I found your blog through stash manicure. A while back I made a totebag with selvedges and whenever I use it some-one remarks on how great it is. I am saving more now and would love to win yours to add to the mix. I may be mad but one day I would love to make a big quilt from them. Have a lovely weekend xx

You are an inspiration , Our local quilt group was challenged to make something using our selvedges. I got a bit carried away and made a pencil case and a needlework project wallet. I could get hooked. I love the quilt and the little purse

Hi, I'm saving all my selvedges but I haven't got many yet, so extras to add to my collection would be fabulous! Thanks for the chance :o)

Julie, your quilt is phenomenal! Thank you for offering a "prize" and I'd love some more selvages. In the meantime, if Bean decides to kiss some more eggs... ask him to kiss some for me too! :)
Thanks again,

PS did I mention your chair is the same style as mine? Oh, I wonder what will happen to my chair. :)

I just started to keep the selvedges, would love to win your pile. Looking forward to have enough to try a first project, like a potholder or a small purse.

I just started collecting selvages after seeing some of the great projects out there. I have 2 so far. I know, I know...2 selvages will make nothing, but if I win, I would love to add your selvages to my collection so I can create!

What a great post today on selvages! I started saving them, then didn't know what to do with them, so I threw them all away! I might have to start saving again. Love the potholder idea - so much inspiration! I would be more than happy with either of your giveaways!

Loved your quilt on Stash Manicure. Very pretty. I have been collecting selvages for awhile, have made a couple projects, but need to make more as my selvage bin is getting pretty full. It is amazing to me that I used to throw these away!I would love either giveaway item....thanks!

I've been collecting selvages but winning some will definitely help my cause (to have enough to actually start and complete a project!) Thanks!
I love the little bag that you showed on Sew We Quilt! Think I have enough for a small project like that :D

I would love the pile of selvadges. I am trying to get enough aquas and greens to finish a valence for my sewing room. I love selvadges! THey are so cool looking. I liked your projects esp the pouch. I too like the plain white sections just as much as the dots and fonts.

Sarah said...

I would love the loose/unused selvages to supplement what I have...maybe that would be enough to finally make "something". Thanks for the chance to win!

Kathy H said...

Such beautiful colors. I would love to win the potholder. Thanks for the chance. I saw you over at Stash Manicure. Great quilt. Is it hard to quilt over so many seams?

Debbie J said...

Thanks for having us be your first "give away"! I love both but if I had to pick I would love to have the selvages-I have started collecting them. Love how you color group them.

The potholder is so cute! But I have a quilt pattern in mind when I collect enough salvages of my own.
